Itsenäinen työkoira joka omaa erittäin taitavan nenän käytön. Paimennus viettinen ja on lauman johtajar. Inkerin kanssa harrastetaan verijälkeä, metsästystä ja välillä käydään uimassa, ja leikitään pikku-veikan kanssa hippaa. Inkeri tykkää ulkoilusta todella todella paljon, hän on pyllyilevä sadan metrin aituri. Päiväunet inkeri ottaa välillä lumi poterossa mielummin kuin prinsessa pedillä.
